Tim (Nd Arb, Nd Forestry, M. Arbor. A) - Director
Tim decided to become a tree surgeon after seeing a climber in a large tree on his way to school. At 16 Tim moved to Lincoln to study a National Diploma in Forest Management and staying to complete a National Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture. Tim did 4 apprentice years with Patrick Faulkner and then Nick Sutton before setting up Treelife in 2003 where he has since achieved professional membership of The Arboriculture Association.
Tim holds the following awards in chainsaws and related operations: NPTC CS30, CS31, CS32, CS33, CS36, CS38, CS39, Risk Assessment for Commercial Arboricuture, NPTC Safe Use of a Stump Grinder and Emergency First Aid at Work.
Pete (Nd Arb) - Team Leader
After studying for a National Diploma in Arboriculture at Myerscough College, tree surgery has become more of a passion than a career. Pete worked internationally as a climber two years of which were on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. Pete joined Treelife in 2008.
Pete holds the following awards in chainsaws and related operations: NPTC CS30, CS31, CS32, CS33,CS36, CS38 and CS39, Risk Assessment for Commercial Arboriculture, NPTC Level 2 Certificate in the Safe Use and Operation of Mobile Work Platforms (MEWP) and Emergency First Aid at Work.
Dave joined the team as a climber in 2012 from Dacorum Borough Council.
Dave holds the following awards in chainsaws and related operations: NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 and CS41. Also Streetworks Excavation and Reinstatement: Signing, Lighting and Guarding, NPTC Safe Use of a Stump Grinder and Emergency First Aid at Work.
James has always loved trees and climbing them, he became intrested in tree surgery after he watched a tree surgeon install lights for a festival he was helping to set up at the time. A month or so later he met Brett Pryor of Paekakariki in New Zealand who took him on as an apprentice. After gaining experience he then worked in Sydney, Australia for a year before coming to work with the team at treelife, where he is continuing to learn and gain qualifications in tree surgery.

Felix is originaly from the south of Germany, has more than 20 years woodworking experience. He started out as a qualified carpenter in the Black Forest in germany, a region strongly indluence by woodcarvers charcoal burners and clock makers. He also had a small dairy farm in an remote alpine region in Switzerland and holds a diploma in farming and ski instructing. Before he joined the treelife team he tought woodwork and gardening at a Steiner school to children age 9-19 and also held regular woodwork evening classes to adults. His handcrafted woodworking products are often inspired by organic and unusual shapes found in treetrunks or logpiles. He especially enjoys making unique furniture for people who like functional a beautiful pieces made from a beautiful hard or soft wood. Beside working with wood Felix likes to play the tuba, rock climbing and mountaineering in summer and sking in the backcountry of Swizerland with his wife and three children.
Lauran - Office Administrator
Lauran joined Treelife in 2008 after leaving Writtle College gaining a BSc in Conservation and the Environment making her a valuable resourse for the team.
